LATISSE® (bimatoprost opthalmic solution) is an FDA approved prescription treatment for inadequate or not enough eyelashes, growing them longer, fuller and darker from Allergan, the makers of BOTOX® Cosmetic.
LATISSE® solution works gradually over 12-16 weeks to provide remarkable results. When following the proper treatment protocol of applying the topical solution every night, lashes will become longer, thicker and darker gradually over time.
The prescription is written by Dr. Stiles after a consultation to ensure you are a good candidate for the treatment. As with all prescriptions, there are possible side effects. We can over this information in detail at your complimentary consultation.
Approximately 4% of patients experienced an itching sensation in the eyes and/or eye redness. LATISSE® solution may cause other less common side effects which typically occur on the skin close to where LATISSE® is applied or in the eyes. These include skin darkening, eye irritation, dryness of the eyes, and redness of the eyelids.
