Smartlipo ® - Laser Liposuction

For focal areas of excess fat, Smartlipo ® allows us to break the fat cells and melt it away! A tiny laser fiber is inserted under the skin and passed through the layers of fat. The liquefied fat may then be suctioned or it may be absorbed and eliminated by the body. The laser also helps to tighten the skin. This procedure may be performed under local anesthesia alone, or a combination of local and general anesthesia. For larger areas, Smartlipo ® may be combined with traditional liposuction to achieve the best overall result.

Patients have less bruising, swelling, and downtime with Smartlipo ®, compared with traditional liposuction techniques.
